Loxton Mardi Gras - Loxton's family fun day

Loxton celebrates its 55th Mardi Gras this year. The Mardi Gras is a family fun day, with money raised going towards community projects. Most years the event raises over $20,000.

Highlights on the Saturday include a Pageant of floats (around 60-70), and bands, Mardi Gras Art Space 2012, the crowning of the Ambassadors and from 5pm, the Nippy's Loxton Gift an exciting program featuring top SA and interstate professional athletes.

Sunday includes a combined Mardi Gras Harvest Thanksgiving Church Service, various displays and Mardi Gras Art Space 2012.
