Loxton celebrates its 52nd Mardi Gras this year. The Mardi Gras is a family fun day, with money raised going towards community projects. Most years the event raises over $20,000.
Highlights on the Saturday include a pageant of floats (around 60-70), and bands, the crowning of the ambassadors and from 5pm, the Nippy's Loxton Gift an e xciting program featuring top SA and interstate professional athletes.
Sunday includes a combined Church Service, various displays, and the Apex Fisharama.
