The "Bowls" are usually oranges donated by Nippy"s. This year the "Bowls" may be orange dyed tennis balls (because of fruit restrictions). "The green" this year is located on Loxton oval #2 cricket pitch.

The Mardi Gras is a family fun day, with money raised going towards community projects.
Most years the event raises thousands of dollars through the efforts of many volunteers.
