Victoria COVID-19 traveller Information

In effect from 18 February 2021

Travel from Greater Melbourne is still prohibited

People are permitted to travel from Victoria including regional (other than Greater Melbourne) to South Australia providing they have not been in Greater Melbourne on or after 12.01 am on 4 February 2021

As a condition of attendance to the Loxton Mardi Gras, if you have been in New Zealand since Saturday 6 February 2021

  • You cannot attend this event/venue (or any major event or festival) unless it has been 14 days after your last date in New Zealand

  • You must submit to COVID-19 testing on day 1, day 5, and day 12 post entry into South Australia. There is no charge for these tests

We need Mardi Gras goers to be open-minded and willing to experience the parade within restrictions. Please follow COVID safe practices when attending and help stop the spread.

Keep 1.5m from others

Avoid close contact and crowded places whenever you can, and aim to keep at least 1.5 metres distance from those around you while at the event

Check-in using mySA Gov app

Check-in using our QR code as you enter the event - you must do this for every person if you have a suitable smart phone

Otherwise you MUST hand write your name and contact details on the paper form provided - for every person not registered via the QR code

Practice good hand hygiene

Wash your hands often with soap and running water for at least 20 seconds. Dry them with paper towel or a hand dryer. Alternatively, use alcohol based hand sanitisers

Stay home if you are unwell
